Industrial continuous rotary kiln for biochar production by pyrolysis of biomass in an oxygen-free environment, using nitrogen to maintain an inert atmosphere. Continuous feed and production capacity up to 300 L/h. Operating temperature: below 1,000 °C. Recommended biomass particle size: below 5 cm and inlet moisture below 15%. The unit is designed for reproducible, continuous processing at industrial scale and enables optimization of operating variables, production of larger batches and validation of scale-up conditions.
