Archaeology laboratory

A space for research, development, and innovation in the field of Archaeology, with facilities and equipment for, among others: reception, documentation, and entry of archaeological materials; quarantine and initial treatment of materials; conservation and restoration of cultural assets; classification, inventory, documentation, and study of collections; temporary storage of materials in climate-controlled rooms; sediment screening; archaeozoological studies; sampling; osteoarchaeological analysis; geometric documentation of built archaeological heritage; selection, preparation, and sampling for transfer to other laboratories; prehistoric technology and experimental archaeology projects; studies in epigraphy and numismatics; etc.
